How Steve Job Defines' Focus

When thinking about productivity, the focus (no pun intended) is usually on prioritization and spending time on what matters most.

There are a million techniques, tips, and tricks.

Have you tried the Pomodoro method?

Have you purchased the newest planner or app?

I am all for new methods, tips, and tricks. However, I think we often lose sight of the forest for the prettiest new tree.

What I love most about Steve Jobs’ quote is how simple it is and yet how it highlights what is most difficult about true productivity.

You have to let go or at least put on the back burner many good ideas and valuable efforts in order to achieve what is most important and what really matters.
